Derek Ambrosi graduated from New York University with a degree in Film and Television. He has been honored with 8 Emmy awards for outstanding editing and producing in sports television for his work with CBS, NBC and MLB Network.
Feature work includes Premium Rush, Mortdecai, and most recently You Should Have Left. Editing has taken him from New York to Los Angeles, London, Dublin, and Athens.
Working with companies like HBO, Netflix, Discovery, Comedy Central, Sundance Channel, MTV and VH1 he has brought his passion for music and storytelling to various projects.
In addition to directing, producing and editing he has written a children's book about film-making that is available through Amazon.
